Los Fastidios – XXX The Number Of The Beat – 2021

Hey guys, MirceONE here and here is some amazing news from our friends at Los Fastidios.

Los Fastidios are back on business with their new album: XXX Number Of The Beat. This is their 11th studio album and has 14 new tracks in the same Los Fastidios mix: punk, ska and rock’n’roll. The album was released by their own label: KOB Records, in collaboration with Potencial Hardcore and Fire and Flames. They sung in Italian, English and French on this album, pure anthems of the street for your soul. Lyrics talk about having a beer with your friends and having fun up to social issues like racism or brutality to animal and human rights. 2tone, ska rocksteady sounds packed in attitude. The band is on the road since 1991 and this year they celebrate their 30th anniversary. Also the album has some specials guests like: Andrea Massaroni from The Magnetics, and The Urgonauts and Lennon Kelly on backing vocals. Also the album has so far two new videos already online for “Take a Stand” and “Pour la Liberté”. Cheers and zighidap.

KOB Records presents: Los Fastidios/FFD red vinyl limited edition – Hasta La Baldoria from 1996.

hey guys, MirceONE here. We are happy for KOB Records new release. Well, is not something new, but something gold. It is Los Fastidios and FFD iconic split from 1996. Hasta La Baldoria on red vinyl on limited edition. So after 25 years here it is on vinyl with 12 tracks that made history on italian 90’s streetpunk/oi scene. About Los Fastidios, i think i don’t need to tell you more words, they formed back in 1991 and to be honest in our small zine they have been around since we started in 2005. One of the bands that i love and that i’m always glad when they have something new. About FFD well, they formed in 1992 and they have playes ever since their mix of punk rock of the 90’s with streetpunk. Here is a short interview with them that i took back in 2013. This quarantine brought the new Los Fastidios album. I am a huge fan of the band since their first albums and this is a good acoustic album with old and new songs recorded by the band in a home session.
12 tracks in their acoustic version: From Lockdown To The World. All the members recorded with love and passion their part while locked at home. The album was released on 11 August by KOB Records in collaboration with: Potencial Hardcore from Spain, Fire and Flames from Germany, Larsen Prods in France, True Rebel Store in germany, Relco London in UK and Prof Sny Vinyl in Czech Republic.
As the band says the tracks helped them to overcome the difficult times while locked. The album contains most of Los Fastidios greatest hits such as: 3 Tone from Rebels’n’Revels, Antifa Hooligans from Siempre Contra, Reds in The Blue from All’ Arrembaggio and of course the covers after Oh Henry from Millie Small and We’re Comng Back after Cock Sparrer. Mighty mighty Los Fastidios are back with their 8th studio album. The band formed in Verona somewhere in 1991, last year they had their Best Of, 25 years of combat ska-punk! In 2017 is time for kids to be ready for Sound Of Revolution. This album has it all from finest ska sounds to streetpunk and from oi! to rocksteady. 12 tracks for every rude boy, punk, skin out there, themes are speaking about injustice in any form, equality, human and animal rights. The album has as well guests from SKASSAPUNKA and REDSKA, also it feature a ska medley from The Specials’s “You’re Wondering Now” and Cock Sparrer’s “We’re Coming Back”, also a cover after Manu Chao-Clandestino. I will say that this is my 2nd favorite from them after Rebels’n’Revels from 2006.

Who dosen’t know these guys, better Google them and listen! 86 Crew are one of the old school bands when it comes to skihnead reggae scene, formed in 1995 in Paris (and suburbs), the band is well known for their ska-oi-reggae-punky beat. Working Class Reggae is their latest album from 2017 with 18 tracks and 1h:15 minutes of skankin mood for your soul. One of the best albums so far from them, good vibes, good friends and skankin all night. This album has the perfect rhythm, has trumpets and brings back memories. Los Fastidios-exclusive interview with Enrico

It’s was 2007 when we did our first interview with Enrico. The years passed and the guys are hit the road with a new album: Let’s Do It!,they prepare a new tour in South America and are here to stay. Here’s for the good times.

Ciao Enrico, it’s been awhile since we spoke last time in 2007. How are you?

Hi Mircea, really nice heard about you after long time….here everything is moving like 7 years ago…Los Fastidios, Kob Records, Virtus Verona….only I have closed my records shop (now I have only on line shop) and I changed something in my private life….

First of all congrats for the new material,i did listen the preview, what is his story?

Thanx mate, I’m really excited for this new album, Let’s do it is the title….it born in the last 6 months with the new line up…i really love this album, a typical Los Fastidios album with something more than the past….I hope you will enjoy it

Since 1991, you are the only constant member in LF, tell me about the “new” members…

Not easy to be part of Los Fastidios, a lot of concerts everywhere in Europe, always ready to start for new shows….sometimes personal work or family cannot permit to do it….In the last 3 years we played not so much for these problems…at the end two old members dedided to step aside and make room to the two new members Mario (guitar) and Dave (drumset) who entered in the band last may with a big enthusiasm !!! Dave is an old friend, seeing it was the drummer of the old band of Alvise (our bass player) and he already played with us in the past few times when the old drummer had some problems with his back. Mario is a young guy, a great guitar player, who was playing together with Dave in a combat band called Hate the Nation.

How things are moving with KOB?

Not easy life at the moment for indipendent labels in Italy….big problems with the distribution and more a lot of punk rock shops are closed now…..so we cannot work like in the past…..we released in the last year an album of Guacamaya (italian combat band) and the album of Cantiniero (italian ska band)…..now the new Los Fastidios album and in few weeks the new Merdonalds (italian punk hc band)….

Tell me what you do beside LF,KOB and Virtus Fans:)

All this things really fill much my life…..I’m really lucky because I can do all of this together my girlfriend Elisa (she is involved in Kob, Virtus Fans and she is the tour manager of the band) and so I can have time to stay also together with her

Last time in your top 10 when we did it few years back were: Cock Sparrer,86 Crew, Simaryp,Specials…still the same this time eh?

Maybe you forget also The Housemartins (my favourite band of ever), The Smiths, the Oppressed…..yes nothing is changed

I saw many good bands that don’t exist anymore and many of the old ones coming back in force, music is still here for the good people,good labels are still here…how hard it is to keep the flame still burning?

It’s not easy….but I think when you have passion in your heart and you have something to say….everything is possible !!!!

I know your love for football, please make me a team of players from the bands that you listen to.

I’m not a trainer….just a supporter…..and I prefere to stay in the terraces than in the ground

I saw few concerts for LF, where you guys will play in the near future?

A big tour is waiting for us…in the next months we will tour all of Europe and in june for the first time we will fly to South America for a tour in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia…..
