NO FEALTY was formed in the end of 2011 after the break up of Tobias’, Jon’s and Jakob’s former band Thought Police Brutality. After including Morten as a new vocalist and Søren (former bass player of Stream City and Hexis) in the band they decided that the time was right for a new start with a new band name and a new identity live as well as on record. However the recording of the tracks for this record was almost finished by then and therefore they decided to record new vocals for all the tracks. In this way the record has been under way for more than 2,5 long years. But all good things comes to those who wait – and work hard – and the band is very proud of the actual outcome.
The album is a DIY-production recorded by theband in AngryMusic Studios. Guitarist Tobias has done the mixing and mastering and the artwork for the record. NO FEALTY consider themselves a DIY hardcore band and feel a close affinity to the DIY and punk scene. Live as well as on record they strive to make a chaotic, brutal and aggressiveimpression, withouttoomuch tough guy or breakdown bullshit. The lyrics tend to be critical and politically loaded. If you can hear hints of punk, crust, grind, thrash and metal in the songs alongside elements of hardcore it is probably not that strange.

Flix Records news
We’re thrilled to announce that Los Angeles’ own The Kinison are back and on the verge of their first release since 2004’s “What Are You Listening To?”

The single, “Oh, The Guilt,” was recorded with Paul Fig (Deftones / Coheed & Cambria) and is being mixed and mastered now. It’ll come with two unreleased live tracks —“What Would You Do?” and “Stevie Nicks vs. Nikki Sixx.” And the whole lot will be available September 2nd, 2013 on Highwires (http://highwires.com)!

Road warriors for much of the early aughts, the Kinison ended up in a variety of places (from Coachella to shows with Black Flag —including the West Memphis Three benefit —to touring with Blink-182), before calling it quits in 2005. But, after a lengthy hiatus, the members felt a pull to get together again. Vocalist Christopher Lee Lewis puts it simply: “We really just wanted to see if we still had it, and it clicked.”

The Kinison will be playing shows soon, including a pending return to Europe in 2014.

Current Lineup: Christopher Lee Lewis – Vocals Guy Knight – Guitar Mikey Rivera – Drums Frank Alexander Figueroa – Bass Bryan Swarthout – Piano

The Hex Bombs feat. Mike McColgan (Street Dogs) – None Shall Be Forgotten 7″ (East Grand Recordings / Pirate’s Press)

The 2-song vinyl 7″ is the band’s first new release since 2012’s self-titled EP. The record is out since June 25, 2013.

Track list: A. None Shall Be Forgotten (featuring Mike McColgan) B. Destination U.S.A.

There will be 3 color variations: Color #1 – 100 pressed – available from the band Color #2 – 100 pressed – available from EastGrand Color #3 – 200 pressed – available from Pirate’s Press
THE HEX BOMBS formed in 2006, likely in the same small storage unit that currently serves as their practice space, littered with hand-written lyrics, set lists, and empty bottles and cans. You see, the Midwest produces a working/drinking class like no other and THE HEX BOMBS are no exception, working relentlessly to make ends meet, for their friends, their family, their music.

Naturally, much of their creative inspiration is derived from this lifestyle. Their messages of survival, unity and rebellion might sound familiar, but this isn’t your ordinary, recycled, blue-collar punk. Passion and honesty drive every song from the hardcore blasts to the sing-along anthems.

Mike McColgan (Street Dogs) lends his distinct vocal talents to the song “None Shall be Forgotten”. THE HEX BOMBS “sing for the forgotten, the underdogs, the working poor and our men and woman in uniform. Obviously that appeals to me and l am honored that they asked me to sing on their amazing anthem”, says McColgan.

Questions out of society press release.new EP OUT NOW

Questions Out of Society new EP Questions, brazilian hardcore band based in São Paulo, just release 2 brandnew songs from the upcoming ep “Out of Society”! Recorded and produced by Fernando Sanches in El Rocha Studios, São Paulo, Brasil, in June 2013, featuring Andrew Kline (Strife) and Nick Jett (Terror) that joined them on the track “We are not alone.” Seven Eight Life Recording will put out this 7″ for our upcoming European/Russian Tour in july/august 2013. And finally, to summarize a bit the concept of the new album, some of the members talk about what is to be out of society: “For me Questions always represented it,above all,a personal satisfaction. A channel to express our ideas, vent frustrations, enhance the values which we believe is important in life. But with each passing year the harsh reality imposes itself: a hardcore band in Brazil is not an economically viable thing,it´s quite the opposite, everything seems to conspire against. But there is the will and determination speak louder and find more and more strength to fight. Since we live in a place where our art (and many others) is not properly recognized, the easiest thing would be to give up,give it all up and embrace a normal life within the standards that most of society expects of us. Get a ‘good’ job, living to accumulate money and goods, consume more and more, face the mediocrity, sameness. We are not born for this. If this is the plan of life that society has to offer,we feel out of it. We did not come into this world to be just another cog in the wheel, but rather try to build our way and find our space. Prove ourselves that a better life is possible without stepping on anyone. Strengthen the hardcore in Brazil … yes, sounds utopian, but it still makes sense for us. ” (Pablo Menna) “How big is our freedom?

Since kid i’d always felt a “dirty, rotten and imbecile” by the eyes of society, either with my lifestyle I lead or charges imposed by them to make “our world” better. So when I was sure that my life would not be easy and would have to prove to myself and my family, i’d would be able to live outside the system and not follow everything I was imposed. Over time I got to know other people with the same ideas, both in music and in the attitudes of the day by day and find that the hardcore was our life,a lifestyle and not a fashion, time flies, but few survive it. Questions besides being my family is a tool to say no to society and the do it yourself is the answer! Question, think and believe, even the society is above you,we who determine our fate.” (Eduardo Sasaki) Freedom http://questionshc.bandcamp.com About Questions

Admired by the Cavalera brothers (Iggor wore their shirt in many Sepultura concerts and recorded one song in their second album, Max carry their sticker on his ”Brazilian flag” guitar), among lots of others accomplishments, Questions is today one of the best Hardcore bands that ever came out of South America”. Rodrigo Carneiro, journalist at Showlivre.

They started in February 2000, São Paulo, Brasil, moved by the feeling of mixing the energy and intensity of hardcore music and the strength and aggressiveness of metal music. The name stands a critic vision towards life: questioning, don’t accept anything passively. Their lyrics express a positive, constructive way to endure the difficulties of living in a third world country.Since their first demo-tape named “We Shall Overcome”, released in June 2000, the band established themselves as one of the most powerful bands ever formed in Brazil. Their show is energetic and passionate, keeping alive the spirit of old school Hardcore bands. In this 13 years journey, the band kept pushing the boundaries of underground music in Brazil, recording 4 CDs, doing countless videos, including a documentary about the São Paulo Hardcore Scene and playing shows all over the country, not only in clubs but also as a guest of large fetivals like Gas Fest (SP), Grito do Rock (Cuiabá), Dosol (Natal), Mundo (João Pessoa) and made three big tours in Europe, where they played more than 70 gigs in 20 countries, including Russia, Greece, Germany, Poland, Turkey, etc ….The latest two releaeses “RISE UP” and “LIFE IS A FIGHT” were released by SEVEN EIGHT LIFE RECORDINGS (http://www.seveneightlife.com/), the biggest sxe/vegan/hardcore in Latin America.

Questions is always playng shows in Brazil, and right now they are planing South American and European tours.

Another current projects: documentary made by the band on the three European tours, some episodes are available at http://www.youtube.com/user/questionstv

Production and editing of a DVD focused on the last few years of the band, called “Rise Up Days”.
